Final Blog Thing 23

Finished! Still need to go back and sign up for Flickr and Face Book, but have tried everything. This was an excellent opportunity, although it did get a little overwhelming in the middle and I constantly had to check back to remind myself. Thanks to the committee who set this all up, especially my mentor Becky, and to the LDC for sponsoring.

Wordle Thing 21

This was an easy one. In fact the last two were both easy to use. Good way to end, if I'd known might have sped through on time.

Library Things

I tried the last thing, Librarything. I could see lots of potential for this and long evenings looking stuff up. Maybe just continue taking recommendations from friends or grab something at the garage sale or bookstore. Now I know why I call many things the thingy.

Flikr

I plan to set this up on my home computer. I have a daughter with an account although I notice she hasn't used it much lately. I am curious to find out if anyone is using it. Seems like looking at photo albums of strangers, my attention span is short. Will use it if I can find some friends who do and we can share common photos.

Wiki

Seemed easy to use, but pretty sure we just touched the surface. Wiki class coming in May through the LDC. I want to learn more? Take the class.

Murdoch University 23 Things

Watched Leah's 23 things slide show from Murdoch University in Australia. Agree, it is worth listening to for the concepts behind 23 Things. Also, went on their U Site and was able to get into their librarian bloggers pages and read the comments. Remember, nothing is automatically private on the intanet. So pretend you are on stage all the time.
